General Information
Most patching issues (e.g., unable to update to the latest patch) can be resolved by clearing your patch metadata. Here's how:
For Windows Vista/7
- Open your local application data folder. To do this, click the Start menu, type %LOCALAPPDATA% in the Search box, and hit enter to run.
- Delete the Runic Games folder that exists in this location. Doing so will remove patch metadata files stored here. It is possible that these files may be corrupt, so removing them may resolve the issue.
- Try running the launcher again to see if this issue persists. If you're still experiencing a problem, please contact us for assistance.
For Windows XP
- Open your local application data folder. To do this, click the Start menu, choose Run... and type %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\ and hit enter to run.
