Windows unfortunately does not include PS4 controller drivers. We generally recommend using an Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller to play Hob on PC.
However, it is possible to use a DualShock controller with Hob.
For Steam users
The easiest way to enable PS4 controller support is to do the following:
- From the Steam menu, choose Settings -> Controller -> GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS (this will launch Big Picture mode) and choose the option to enable PS4 Configuration Support.
- Try relaunching the game with your controller connected.
For everybody else!
We recommend using a free, third-party utility called DS4Windows. This application acts as an intermediary layer between Windows and the native Xbox controller driver. Check out their instructions for how to set things up! It's been our experience that during setup, the application may sometimes report failures, but still seems to work without issue with the game.
Note: The game may still show Xbox-style UI buttons.
