How do I change my A and D keys to control the camera instead of strafing?
Look for the mouse icon in the bottom right of the screen labeled "Systems"
Then choose the computer icon "Options"
From here three tabs will give you the ability to adjust a variety of settings in the game, including graphics settings, displaying names, titles, alliance names, displaying other players, and chat options.
The first tab "System" will allow you to switch between windowed and full screen modes, and adjust all graphical settings and music volume.
The second tab "Interface" will allow you to determine at what distance you view players and effects and what information will be displayed above their name or in their character information. You can also control minimap display preferences in this panel.
The third tab "Preferences" gives you the option to change your camera settings. Checking "Zoom" will reverse the current settings of your mouse wheel or + and - keys. Clicking "Style" causes your A and D keys to rotate the camera while your character stands still.
The third tab also controls all of your chat display preferences, including the ability to set autoreply text. Remember to uncheck this box when talking to others, or it will interfere with your conversation.
Make sure that you click "Apply" and "Confirm" to save any changes.
If you have pressed the "Temporarily Reduce Visual Settings" icon near your minimap and unclicking this icon is not restoring your settings, please use this menu to reset your settings. It often helps to put your settings to the lowest possible option (all the way to the left on the slider bars) and restart your game. Then you can work your graphics settings back up to the place you want them in.
