Windows
Your save files will appear as a list of numbered files (e.g., SAVE0.HOB). This filename does not correspond to the save slots in the game. For example, in a default configuration, this particular file might appear in the SLOT 1 location in the game. These files will be accessible from the following locations:
For Steam builds...
- Documents\My Games\Runic Games\Hob\SAVES\[YOUR_STEAM_ID]\
For GOG.com builds...
- Documents\My Games\Runic Games\Hob\SAVES\
Note: We store previous versions of your game save in a backup folder. Please see What are backup saves? for more information.
PlayStation 4
If you are looking to manage saves across consoles using Online Storage, see Manage PS4 Saved Data in Online Storage on Sony's knowledgebase. To manage saves locally, see: Manage PS4 Saved Game Data in System Storage.
By default, you can locate/manage your saves from the system's main menu:
- Settings > Storage > System Storage > Saved Data > Hob
Once copied over to a USB drive, a PS4 save will consist of two files: save and save.bin. Both of these files are required if you are emailing your saves to us for support purposes.
Note: The saves shown here will correspond only to the save data for the active PlayStation user account. If multiple users play the game on the same console, their save data will be managed separately. Additionally, all the saves for a given user are contained within a single monolithic file.
