Scenarios:
- How do I reset my Runic account password? I forgot the password and the recovery page doesn't work anymore.
- When I try to link my Steam account to my Runic account, I get an error: "Looks like something went wrong. Please try again or contact support for assistance".

Cause: Unfortunately the Runic account recovery page is no longer operational and will not be fixed as the development studio has shut down. Any errors related to linking can be ignored as this process is no longer necessary.
Resolution:
While you will be unable to retrieve your old Runic password, you can register a new Runic account (with a different username and email) to play again immediately.
You no longer need to link your Runic and Steam accounts in order to login to multiplayer.
Be sure to write down your password and store it in a safe location as you will not be able to recover it in the future.
