Resolution:
In order to investigate your issue, please attach the following files to your support inquiry:
- Frontiers.log
- A log of technical details from your last game run
- GameUserSettings.ini
- The configuration file storing your settings selections
- DxDiag.txt
- A Microsoft diagnostic file describing your hardware and drivers
Frontiers.log
- Make sure your issue occurred the last time you played the game. This log file is overwritten each time you start the game.
- Open your Steam Library
- Right-click on Torchlight III and select Properties
- Click on the Local Files tab and select Browse Local Files
- A File Explorer window will appear and you should see the steamapps\common\Torchlight III folder
- Navigate into the Frontiers\Saved\Logs folder
- Locate the file named Frontiers.log and attach it to your inquiry
GameUserSettings.ini
- Within File Explorer, navigate back to the steamapps\common\Torchlight III folder, as explained in the process above
- Navigate into the Frontiers\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor folder
- Locate the file named GameUserSettings.ini and attach it to your inquiry
DxDiag.txt
- Press the Windows key to bring up the Start menu and type: dxdiag
- Click on Save All Information... and save the file to your PC and attach it to your inquiry
