Please read over the following troubleshooting tips:
- Ensure that your computer meets the Hob System Requirements. This is especially important if you're running Hob on a 32-bit CPU or OS.
- Close CPU/GPU-intensive background processes.
- Ensure that you are using the discrete graphics device in your machine. See Mobile GPU Troubleshooting.
- Disable Windows 10 Game Mode.
- Disable SLI (Nvidia cards) or CrossFire (AMD cards).
- Nvidia:
- Open NVIDIA Control Panel.
- From 3D Settings, choose Set SLI Configuration.
- Select Do not use SLI technology and Apply the new settings.
- AMD:
- Launch AMD Radeon Settings and open the Gaming tab.
- Choose Global Settings.
- Under AMD CrossFire Modes, choose Disabled to switch to single GPU mode.
- Ensure that your video drivers are up to date.
- For Nvidia Users: Check to see that you're using the discrete graphics device in your system as some systems may erroneously default to using the integrated graphics device. This is a known issue: Please see Mobile GPU Troubleshooting for more info. Another possible workaround for performance issues on Nvidia graphics devices could be to disable DSR.
- For AMD Users: If you are experiencing issues with Ryzen 8+ core GPUs, please contact us and include your OGRE.log file (See Hob Support Information for more about obtaining the OGRE.log).
- Turn down graphics settings in the Hob Launcher. From the Presets, choose the Very Low setting. Additionally, running in Fullscreen is usually faster than Windowed or Windowed Fullscreen modes.
- Try reinstalling the game. See Launching Issues for info about how to verify your installation.
- If you're still experiencing issues, it might be worth contacting support. Please see Hob Support Information before you submit a new ticket.
